Mannerist Sculpture (1 janv. 1530 – 1 janv. 1600)
Description:
The Mannerist Movement would be one that would touch most of the continent of Europe. This style would reflect the uncertainty and chaos of Europe as at the time it was affected by a large devide in religion and Rome had recently been occupied by French merceneries. The style would bring a new sense of expressiveness into the sculpture works that would be crafted at the time.
