Description:
This monument was built by the Pharaoh Hatshepsut. The main part of the temple was built on a cliff by the Nile river. The entry was graced by 200 Spinx statues. The Spinx is the animal with the body of a lion, and head of a man. Scenes from Hatsheput region decorated the temple walls.
