The French and Indian War (28 mai 1750 – 10 févr. 1773)

Description:

The French and Indian War was yet another conflict between Great Britain and France that started in 1754 and ended nine year later in 1763. After the French expanded into the Ohio River Valley, this started problems with Great Britain causing many battles between the two countries, leading to the British Declaration of War in 1756. Before the French and Indian War, the world never saw fighting to this bloody extent and ended up being the first global war. Despite being the victor, Britain was hit with really hard casualties, being broke was one of them, the mother country felt that America should step in and pay some the damages, causing them to start taxing the colonist. This was significant in leading to the American Revolutionary war, because America felt that they were being unfairly taxed without any say causing the colonist to rebel and fight for their own independence.
