Robert Brown- Gave a more accurate description of the nucleus from an orchid's cells. (31 déc. 1832 – 31 déc. 1833)

Description:

Brown was born December 21, 1773, in Montrose, Scotland. He went to the University of Edinburgh. In 1795, he joined the army as a surgeon. Then proceeded in 1800, to volunteer to serve as a naturalist on board HMS Investigator during the circumnavigation of Australia. He collected an enormous amount of plants and then his boat was wrecked. Brown then stayed in Australia to recover his lost collection. Brown died on June 10, 1858. www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk
