Mississippi Freedom Summer (1 juin 1964 – 31 août 1964)
Description:
The purpose of this event was to register as many black voters as possible in Mississippi. It was led by the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and the Congress for Racial Equality (CORE).
