Montgomery bus boycotts (1 janv. 1955 – 1 janv. 1956)
Description:
This was a widespread boycott of racially segregated public buses (blacks in the black, whites in the front) led by the young MLK and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. These bus boycotts were where MLK became nationally known and helped launch him as the leader of the African American Civil Rights Movement.
