Description:
Mao died in 1976. Mao’s widow and three others created the Gang of Four, who wanted to continue the cultural revolution and restore order. The Gang of Four was eventually put on trial and found guilty for many crimes. Den Xiaoping become the leader of the moderates and directed a reform of the economy called the Four Modernizations.
