Description:
Although it started as a conflict between two of the Balkan states, the conflict which would be known as 'the war to end all wars' eventually encompassed most of Europe and her colonies, as well as some Asian and American powers. The results of the war as the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, and the harsh Treaty of Versailles which left Germany bitter and resentful after her loss, to say nothing of her economic state. Additionally, the Treaty resulted in the creation of the League of Nations, whose goal was to prevent anymore conflicts like this. Obviously it failed, but hey it tried.Ajouté au bande de temps:
