Spanish Armada (1 juill. 1588 – 1 août 1588)

Description:

The Spanish Armada’s main goal was to escort an army from Flanders and invade England. The Armada tried to take down a small nation with little to no Navy around to help the people of England. Their Navy was facing the greatest World Power and this was seen as a clear victory for the Spanish, but the sea was in the favor of the English crushing a huge blow to the Armada. This was the beginning of England making a great navy of their own rivaling the Spanish Armada.
