Ottoman Dynasty (1 janv. 1299 – 1 janv. 1922)
Description:
The Ottoman Dynasty ruled over the Ottoman Empire in Anatolia. Founded by Turks, the Ottoman Empire was a largely Islamic state. One of the Empire’s Sultans, Suleyman, led the Dynasty to a period of economic growth and stability. By developing trading centers and allowing Jewish people to migrate to the Empire, the Dynasty witnessed large economic success. The Dynasty was religiously tolerant, allowing Christians and Jews to practice their religions while being citizens of the Empire. The Dynasty was important because their conquest of Constantinople ended the Byzantine Empire, one of the greatest empires in history. (4.2)
