Description:
The great grandson of mayor Pippin I who made the rise of power of the Carolingians possible. Successfull wars against the Saxons, Frisians, Alamanni and the Bavarians. He defeated the Muslims near Poitiers aswell.Whilst for the Muslims this was a minor defeat as they couldn't get supplies over. For Europe it was one of the greatest victories, stopping the Muslim expansion in Europe.
