During the early period of Queen Victoria´s reign also includes sentimental novels, just as the Romanticism. The female authors Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters belong to the late romanticists and early Victorian writers. The most special about the Victorian literature is that it forms a link and transition between the writers of the romantic period and the modernist literature of the twentieth century.Other well known writers under this period was charles Dickens, George Eliot and Oscar Wilde.
