The New Deal (1 janv. 1933 – 1 janv. 1936)
Description:
A series of reforms started by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to try and rescue America from the Great Depression. Many of these reforms created jobs through creating new government departments and helping private individuals to hold onto their money through things like the Social Security Act. These reforms show that government intervention and regulation into the American economy became a necessary development as the nation became further industrialized.
