Lehi and Sariah (9 juin 650 av. J.-C. – 22 sept. 582 av. J.-C.)

This is an estimated lifespan of Lehi, being born in 650, and dying in 582 at the age of 68.
I list Sariah here as well as I believe they were about the same age and died only a year or two apart.

Also note that this puts Lehi at 50 years old when they left Jerusalem, and Sariah at about the same age.

We are given no knowledge of Lehi's family connections, or those of Sariah. We know that they are of the Tribe of Manasseh, but that is all.

Lehi was a great prophet who was called to preach to the Jews at Jerusalem. In less than a year the leaders of the Jews began to seek his life, and he was told by God to flee. He led his family out of he city, and was later joined by Ishmael. By the time they had reached the America's Lehi was the leader of a group of around 30 people, who rapidly multiplied.
Even with the many rebellions of Laman and Lemuel, Lehi was able to keep the group generally united during his life.
One of the greatest moments in the life of Lehi was the Tree of Life Vision, in which he saw the history of mankind played out in symbolism.

Sariah, the wife of Lehi, was a very righteous woman who generally followed her husband without complaint. She recognized his prophetic calling and supported him in it all her days.
