The Scientific Revolution marked the emergence of modern science. The era marked a use of logic, rationalism, and the scientific method. Advancements were made in the fields of mathematics, physics, astronomy, and biology among others. Philosophers and scientists increasingly used empirical evidence and conducted experiments to back up their findings, and developed laws of the universe that still have an impact today.
