Description:
At the end of the Second World War, Korea was divided along the 38th Parallel. On June 25,1950 , the KPA invaded South Korea and advanced south, trapping South Korean and American troops in a small perimeter around the port of Pusan. The United Nations responded quickly and encouraged its members to support the South.
