Caused:

-Prices in Spain quadrupled and prices in Europe tripled.
-Damaged the upper class (nobility), as they had a fixed income.
-Affected poor people the worst, as food costs rose sharply.
-Benefited the middle class, as they didn’t have a fixed income, engaged in commercialism, and had decreasing debts.
