Alfred and Martha conducted a series of experiments was a part of our genetic material. They worked with a DNA virus called T2 that were grown in one of two isotopic mediums. The viruses were then allowed to infect a bacterium called E-coli. Later the virus and bacteria were separated, the larger bacteria formed a pellet, the bacterial pellet was found to be radioactive when infected into 32P-virus but not 35S-virus which proved that DNA was the genetic material and not protein cause DNA was transferred to the bacteria.Ajouté au bande de temps:
