Reason: The emperor of Lê dynasty was taken by Mạc Đăng Dung in 1527. Lê Trang Tông, a prince of Lê dynasty, escaped to the Kingdom of Lan Xang. He claimed himself as the legitimate emperor in 1533, and was supported by Nguyễn Kim and Trịnh Kiểm. The civil war between these two royal families broke out.

Peace Treaty: Mac Dynasty land was annexed
