Description:
The Spanish American War started when American ship Maine sank with no explanation and America said that Cuba, which was spanish controlled, has a right to independence and demanded that spanish forces leave Cuba. The war was heavily one-sided, with Spain not getting its navy nor army ready for war compared to the U.S. military.
