The Renaissance and Reformation: Jacobean Period (1 janv. 1603 – 1 janv. 1625)

Description:

III. Jacobean Period

The Jacobean Period was the time after Queen Elizabeth's death and her end of the British rule. This era refers to the period in English literature and Scottish history that is mainly about the reign of James VI of Scotland. He inherited the crown of England in 1603-1625 as James I, even though he didn't know much about the throne or on how to rule. This era is used for unique styles of Jacobean architecture, visual arts, decorative arts and literature which features that era.
