Description:
The Byzantine Empire was a product of late imperial Rome due Diocletian dividing the Roman Empire into two different sections. The two sections were the Roman in the west and the Germanic in the east. The Byzantine Empire maintained the authoritarian tone of the late Roman rulers, even though they adopted the Greek language and culture.
