Rise and Spread of Manichaeism (7 mars 244 – 24 févr. 300)
Description:
Founders of this movement attempted to include all known religions into their faith. Manichaeism teaches that no omnipotent good power exists but rather, humans are a battleground for the forces of good, the soul, which is composed of light, and evil, the body which is composed of dark earth. This cult was popular among Roman soldiers; however, women were excluded.
