The Early Tuder Period (1 janv. 1485 – 1 juill. 1558)

Description:

The Early Tudor Period stretches between the ages 1485 and 1558. The period is the first of three during The Renaissance.

During this period Henry VIII ruled England. Henrik VIII is famous for his invention of the Church of England, he made the whole country change from Catholic to being a part of the Church of England. The reason for this action was that he wanted a divorce from his wife and that desicion was not approved by The Pope of Rom. He cutted all the ties to Rom and made an own church with rules he approved. This change caused turbolence and upset feelings.

Henry VIII was married six times whereof three of them was with women named Catherine. His most famous child was Elizabeth I, but he was the father to several other childs as well.
