The Middle English Period is a literary period that took place between 1066 and 1450.During this period the English language develops and becomes more similar to the English we are used to. Both the grammar and pronancation changes, as well as the vocabulary. At this time about 10000 new words is added to the English language from for example France.
The Canderburry Tales is 20 short stories from The Middle English Period that is extra famous. The tales are presented as part of a story-telling contest by a group of pilgrims with different backgrounds and ages as they travel together from London to Canterbury. The winner gets a free meal on their return.
