Description: The Constitutional Convention was a gathering for the purpose writing a new constitution or revising the existing constitution(Articles of Confederation). Many thoughts conflicted over central power to the states, but in the end, they opted for a new constitution.
Causes: The Articles of Confederation was too weak to provide a stable foundation for the nation to develop. Something needed to be done with the constitution for the sake of the United States.
Historical Impact: Would lead to the officially renowned Constitution of the United States of America that still stands today as a pillar of governance.
