Siege of Leningrad (8 sept. 1941 – 27 janv. 1944)
Description:
The Germans forces cut off all supplies coming in or out of Leningrad for 872 days. This siege lasted 872 days. However, the Soviet forces managed to open a narrow land corridor to the city on 18 January 1943.
