Description:
During WWI, some migrants living in Australia were classed as 'enemy aliens'. Migrants born in Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, and the Austro-Hungarian empire faced restrictions on their daily lives. Around 7000 of these migrants were held as prisoners in camps in New South Wales.
