First Restorations of Old Jeddah Houses (1 janv. 1980 – 1 janv. 2000)
Description:
In the 1980s and 1990s, were launched the first restorations of traditional Jeddah houses with the support of British consultants, Tunisian and Egyptian craftsmen and architects, the active involvement of a group of Jeddawi passionateand committed architects and historians. The last remaining local craftsmen contributed to this process that continued during the following decades though at a somehow slower
pace.
