Homestead Act (26 déc. 1862 – 8 janv. 1976)

Description:

Most of the movements along the trail will be from the 1840’s-1860’s. Most movement will stop when the Civil War Starts.
In 1862, the federal government created this. It will give people land (~160 acres) in the western territories if they live on itt for 5 years and you farm for 5 years.
It will basically last until the land is gone.
