Description:

The 30 years war was a conflict involving four phases, mainly fought in the Holy Roman Empire and started because of the religious tension and disagreement between Protestants and Catholics. This war shifted the balance of power from being almost soley the Catholic church to the Protestants gaining more religious freedoms, as well as the changes in state powers, which is why this is classified under SP.
