Description:
During this time period, Jews and even some non-Jews fought for the rights of Jews.
Jews were emancipated earlier in France and the Netherlands; however, It took some time for other countries to accept this idea, and some countries, such as Germany, even repealed this movement. This is one of the most important historical events in Jewish history. Jews for the first time had the same rights as others (History; Jewish Emancipation).
