Thirty Years War (29 déc. 1617 – 31 déc. 1648)

Description:

This was a war fought between the Catholics and the Protestants in the Holy Roman Empire. The war had four phases and after the first two it became an international conflict. These first two phases were the Bohemian and the Danish. Subsequently during the Swedish and French phase the involvement of other countries transformed it into an international conflict. This led to the downfall of the Holy Roman Empire after its lands were split between different royal families. This classifies as an interaction with the world because this war became international and it was the falling of a powerhouse that stood for hundreds of years.
