Description:
The Council of Trent was the constant meeting of Catholic officials called by Pope Paul III following the Protestant Reformation. It was meant to reform the church and reinforce Catholic teachings. It is in the SP category because it was a meeting of religious peoples that created thier own mini government in Italy.
