Description:
The Thirty Years war was one of the first wars that involved several countries across the European continent. it was largely fought over religion ad consisted of four phases, the Bohemian, the Danish, the Swedish, and the French. It ended with the peace of Westphalia which largely impacted European politics and culture by shifting the balance of power. The significance is that this is the first time in history that several powers fought with each other at once; it laid out the framework for future world wars.
