Baldassare Castiglione presented what he believed the ideal renaissance man would be. He believed he would / should know both Greek and Roman classics, be able to fight, be skilled in the arts, and have a confident yet humble demeanor He outlined the qualities of The Renaissance Man, a person supposedly the epitome of all renaissance characteristics developed and strived for.
