Description:
Peter the Great made a secret alliance with Denmark and Poland to wage war against Sweden for access to the Baltic Sea. Charles XII of Sweden made quick work of Denmark and then attacked unsuspecting Russians who were besieging the Swedish fortress of Narva on the Baltic coast.
