Niels Bohr (1 janv. 1913 – 1 janv. 1914)
Description:
Bohr's greatest contribution to the scientific community was the atomic model, which depicts the atom as a small, positively charged nucleus surrounded by orbiting electrons. He described that differing orbits and energy levels are located at certain distances from the nucleus and that the electrons move in definite orbits around the nucleus. This very discovery was crucial to the understanding of the atom, as it was previously depicted in a much different way.
