Democritus (1 janv. 470 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 380 av. J.-C.)

Description:

Democritus was a Greek philosopher known for his (for its time) infamous atomic theory, which, in all, described that everything in the universe is made of atoms, which are microscopic, indestructible, and physically indivisible. He also believed that between these atoms lies empty space, and with his beliefs, he created his own model of the structure of an atom. His ideas are the foundation of the atomic theory and its components as a whole, and there most likely wouldn't be an atomic theory had his ideas not been introduced.
