Antoine Lavoisier (1 janv. 1772 – 1 janv. 1794)

Description:

Antoine Lavoisier, a French chemist, is widely known for his scientific breakthrough involving the understanding of how matter is conserved. In his law: "The Law of Conservation of Matter," he states that matter is neither created nor destroyed; that if you were to mix two elements and create a compound through a chemical reaction, it would still be composed of the same amount of mass. Along with this law, Lavoisier discovered that there was an element named oxygen that played a crucial role in combustion.
