John Calvin's Geneva (29 avr. 1536 – 1 avr. 1564)
Description:
John Calvin, who had a vital hand in the Protestant Reformation, was in Geneva for a large span of his time while spreading ideas of evangelical reform. Though kicked out in 1538 and caught in arguments with the city council over the nature of his practices, he helped to establish strong evangelical beliefs in the city till his death. By voicing his beliefs, Calvin was an individual who changed the society around him religiously.
