Castiglione, Baldassare (21 août 1478 – 23 juill. 1529)
Description:
Castiglione was an Italian author, courtier, and diplomat who is primarily known for writing the "Book of the Courtier," which expressed what the ideal traits of a nobleman or courtier were, and was important in spreading Italian humanism into England and France. Being that Castiglione was able to change the social standards of a high status group, contributing to an even larger movement, by writing a book shows his relevance to the AP theme (IS).
