Description:
The American Revolutionary War took place from April 19, 1775 to April 17, 1783. This war was between British troops and the militiamen in Lexington and Concord led by the General George Washington of the Continental Army. Essentially it was supposed to be a civil war but it turned out to be an international conflict.
