Ernest Ruthorford (1 janv. 1871 – 1 janv. 1937)

Description:

In 1908 Rutherford won the Nobel prize in chemistry. He decided the plum pudding model was incorrect. He also concluded that atoms had a positively charged nucleus. In 1920 he figured out that the nucleus contained positively charged subatomic particles called protons. One of his coworkers showed him that the nucleus also contained other subatomic particles called neutrons. So Protons, Electrons, and Neutrons are the building blocks of atoms.
