Norwegian War of Independence (14 sept. 1919 – 7 mai 1921)

Description:

With the Norwegian parliment lowering the power of monarch in 1918, many in Norway began to demand independence. This was further provoked by the addition of Finland into the personal union in the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. The Swedish responded by militarizing their border [with large amounts of German assistance] and soon, conflict broke out. Quickly, Britain took the side of Norway and Germany took the side of Sweden.

With the war going on during the Great War, and with it ending in the Geneva Peace Conference alongside the Great War, many at the time did not consider them to be separate conflicts. However, they are now marked as different.
