Description:
Elizabeth was daughter of Henry and Anne Boleyn and raised as a protestant, but helped to bring about religious stability in England. She ordered herself supreme in the church and required everyone to attend church, but did not interfere with private worship. She was also able to fend of Philip II’s attack, defeating the Spanish Armada and ending Spanish interference in English affairs.
