Joseph was the first person to isolate oxygen scientifically. Although Joseph was not aware that oxygen was an element.
Priestly was someone whose scientific contributions include the development of the modern timeline, the carbonation process, the identification of carbon monoxide and other gases and early experiments in electricity.
