3 innovations/inventions - Porcelain, black powder, and compasses. Their Porcelain was unique and had glossy features. The black powder The main goal for black powder was immortality, but towards the end of the empire, it was used for military use. The compass was a huge inventions for mankind and was used for navigation for citizens and the military.

Interactions between regions- Usually traded with northern neighbors. Their economy thrived and was pretty advanced for it's times through their own inventions but also influence from other regions. A fight fought was the Jingkang Incident, and that was a big step for the empire. The Mongol Conquest of China took 6 decades to complete. And the Battle of Caishi was a major naval engagement.

996 CE- Li Jiqian rebels with Tanguts and raids Song supplies
