Description:
The Pax Romana was a period of relative peace in Rome ushered in by Emperor Augustus. This period was characterized by an economy stimulated by flourishing trade both over Roman roads and Roman sea lanes that linked the entire Mediterranean, fair systems of law reflecting those of today in that they treat everyone equally, beautifully built cities, and a variety of cultures and religions.
