The waters from his pool trickle down into smaller ponds. He later learns that only the Chosen and Holy, can enter the waters at the top of the pool (Maybe even the priestess can't be in those waters for long, thats why she had to woo Eloy into the water and convince him quickly to (basically) die. To be reborn into the other world.
